Fly Southern signs MoU with FutureGenN International

Sri Lanka’s leading flying training school, Fly Southern (Private) Limited, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FutureGenN International (Private) Limited to promote joy air rides in Sri Lanka.

Commenting on the MoU, FutureGenN International Director and CEO, Roshan Jayasinghe said that FutureGenN is a one hundred per cent e-commerce Sri Lankan company and they have joined with another three big Sri Lankan companies.

“Our marketing is done in ways which benefit the customers, themselves as our valuable products and services are marketed through network, affiliate and direct marketing systems, which is very similar to the methodology used by many institutions in the world today such as Alibaba, Amazon etc.,” he said.

“We are happy to announce that we can offer valuable products and services and help to uplift our customers’ economy. We have partnered with FutureGenN International to do many promotions inside the country, helping out the tourism sector. We are planning to introduce sky diving and whale watching very soon. We can attract locals and tourists to get a once in a lifetime experience with us,” Fly Southern Chairman, Capt. Samith Abeygunawardana said.

“With this partnership, we want to do many projects and to sell products under FutureGenN International. We will be introducing tour packages to Europe for a reasonable price, joy rides and exclusive beauty products etc.”“We have eight aircraft at the moment and very soon we will be getting Caravan aircraft and it can be used for sky diving and whale watching. We do have a helicopter and it will be in operation in two weeks,” he said.

“We are planning on international operations and targeting India and the Maldives. There is a huge demand from those two countries. Fly Southern offers a wide range of domestic services that would help meet the growing needs of the commercial aviation industry in Sri Lanka as well as other parts of the world. This includes domestic passenger, cargo and special charter flights along Sri Lanka’s popular air routes. “I was appointed as the current President of Aircraft Owners and Operators Association and I am planning to take our aviation industry to the next level,” he said. “Our company was registered in 2013 and in 2014 we got the approval to operate a flight training school in the country. We do from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) courses. All our courses are approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka. After one year we started the domestic passenger operation. We take passengers A to B; we connect from East to South to develop tourism in the country. We contribute to the country’s economy too,” he added.
