Nov 03, Colombo: The Ministry of Tourism says that two airlines from Russia and France will resume weekly flights to Sri Lanka from today (03) and tomorrow (04).

Accordingly, Russia’s largest charter airline Azur Air will start weekly flights to Colombo from today (03). Azur Air flights are scheduled to arrive from Moscow two days a week.

Tourism Minister Harin Fernando meanwhile announced that Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and will resume flights to Sri Lanka from the 4th of November. He said there will be 4 flights a week.

Also Swiss Air will resume weekly flights to Sri Lanka from November 10th until May 2023, the Tourism Minister said in a twitter message.

The Minister further said the new flight services will further strengthen the arrival of European tourists for the season.
