The 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from April 28 to May 1, 2025.

Supported by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the event will bring together global leaders in the aviation and tourism sectors to discuss the theme, “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity.”

Focus on Sustainable Aviation and Innovation
A key topic at this year’s ATM will be the growth of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), which, according to the International Aviation Transport Association (IATA), is projected to double production to 2.1 million tonnes in 2025. Airlines such as Emirates and Etihad have already implemented SAF to reduce CO2 emissions on routes to major destinations, including London, Paris, and Singapore.

Technological advancements will also feature prominently. Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the aviation industry, from optimizing flight routes and tracking weather to managing airport operations efficiently. Airports like London Heathrow and Gatwick have adopted AI-powered technologies to enhance air traffic control and turnaround management. These innovations align with UAE’s focus on leveraging technology for sustainable development as highlighted in government policies
