Chairman of the AASL, Retired Major General G. A. Chandrasiri, said every passenger arriving in the country will be subjected to a strict screening process and emphasized, there will be NO exemptions.

The Major General added, passengers arriving from Italy, South Korea and Iran will be separated based on a new procedure adopted by the airport officials, and directed for quarantine measures.

Responding to questions raised by journalists, regarding transferring flights from South Korea to the Mattala Airport, the Chairman said, the matter was directed to the Country Director of South Korean Airlines.
