A high-level discussion was recently held at the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Civil Aviation between Hon. Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation, Bimal Rathnayake, and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Sri Lanka, Khalid Al Ameri.
During the meeting, Ambassador Al Ameri reaffirmed the UAE’s keen interest in investing in Sri Lanka’s ports and aviation sectors. He also expressed the UAE’s willingness to invest in the development of a new City Terminal, a state-of-the-art service hub designed to enhance air passenger experience in Sri Lanka.
The Ambassador further assured Sri Lanka’s leadership of the UAE’s continued support, extending a warm welcome to President Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake ahead of his upcoming official visit to the UAE.
