SriLankan Airlines has achieved a major milestone, securing a spot among the world’s top 25 airlines for 2025.
The rankings were announced by AirlineRatings.com, a leading aviation safety and product rating agency based in Australia.
The evaluation criteria included delivering a comprehensive full-service experience and maintaining a minimum economy seat pitch of 31 inches.
Sharon Petersen, CEO of AirlineRatings.com, highlighted that the awards are based on expert assessments rather than public opinion. “These awards are not a popularity contest or a people’s choice award,” Petersen stated. “Our team conducts a meticulous evaluation of each category to help travelers identify the best airlines for quality, value, and safety.”
This recognition underscores SriLankan Airlines’ commitment to excellence in service, safety, and value, further cementing its reputation as a leading carrier in the global aviation industry.
