The day prior and the Sinhala and Tamil New Year will fall on April 12 and 13 next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is as per the list of public and bank holidays in 2020 issued by the Ministry of Internal & Home Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gazette notification declaring those holidays has been issued by Minister Vajira Abeywardena recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accordingly there will be 26 public and bank holidays next year as follows;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
